HOW DO WE TAKE CONCRETE ACTION?
SCIENTIST
We fund scientific studies independent of industry and government to identify fraud and address topics of public interest that are nonetheless overlooked by research.
COMMUNICATOR
We organize and assist others in organizing press and social media communication campaigns aimed at informing the public and influencing public and private decision-makers.
STATISTICIAN
We fund professional opinion polls to understand public opinion. We also develop digital voting tools to familiarize the population with using the Citizens’ Initiative Referendum and direct democracy today.
ACTIVIST
We organize conferences to inform and connect citizens. We carry out bold actions, including inside institutions. We support legitimate voices unfairly excluded from the debate.
LAWYER
We fund legal analyses and judicial proceedings. Scientific freedom, human rights, and democracy must not be empty concepts. Action is needed to ensure they are upheld by those in power.

We seek to positively influence the decisions of legislative, executive, and judicial authorities, as well as the press and leaders of corporations. In theory, legislative, executive and judicial authorities, as well as the press, should be the defenders of democracy and the public interest. However, when they collude to deviate from this role, prioritizing private interests over the common good, it falls to the rest of civil society to intervene. This is what BonSens.org does.
WIN OR DELEGITIMIZE TO UNITE AND COME BACK STRONGER
To strengthen our impact, we work to reach an ever-larger portion of civil society and encourage them to join BonSens.org. In response to strategies like “divide and conquer” or “management by fear,” the solution is to show courage in the face of adversity, unite, and reassure. Together, what seems impossible individually becomes achievable collectively. This stems from the history of discovering the law of falling bodies: what appears impossible at first glance is sometimes true.

Lawmakers, government officials, judges, and journalists are all expected to uphold our rights and freedoms. When they abandon the defense of the public interest in favor of private interests, such as those of corporations, it is our duty to hold them accountable. This wall of impunity stands on an appearance of legitimacy; let us deconstruct it brick by brick until it collapses. Let us take matters into our own hands without delay and on our own. It is time to reclaim control of our destiny and build a healthy future!
